Meet Joseph Michael Pagliarulo
Joseph Michael Pagliarulo who was a prosecutor in Boston for more than 18 years is running as an independent candidate for Norfolk County District Attorney with a clear mission: "Take Politics Out of Prosecution."
A graduate of Catholic Memorial High School, Stonehill College and Suffolk University Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctor with Honors. Joe has spent more than three decades in the courtroom. He has been a member of the Massachusetts Bar since 1991 and has built a career defined by experience and integrity.
Joe began his legal career as a prosecutor in the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office, where he prosecutted thousands of cases and tried more than 300 cases to verdict. Over the course of his tenure, he prosecuted serious felony matters in Superior Court, including violent crimes, and played a key role in evaluating cases for Grand Jury indictment.
Joe supervised the prosecution of approximately 25,000 cases over a ten-year period. Joe trained and mentored assistant district attorneys and law students, managed high-volume caseloads, and ensured that cases were handled efficiently, fairly, and with a focus on justice.
This breadth of experience — as a prosecutor, supervisor, educator, and attorney — gives Joe a unique and balanced understanding of what brings Justice to our courts.
Family & Community
Joe Pagliarulo is originally from Boston and is one of nine children. He is a lifelong Massachusetts resident. He now lives in Millis and has deep roots in the community that he seeks to serve. His commitment to Norfolk County is personal — this is where he lives, works and is raising his family.
